The color white appears in the leaves of the plant and the color black and white appear in the circles representing the peppercorns. To the right of the image are the words "Fratelli" and "Pagani". Fratelli is stacked over the word "Pagani" in a distinctive script. These words appear in green lettering over a white background surrounded by a green border on the top, right and bottom sides of the design. The bottom of the design starts with a green, white, and red bar symbolizing the Italian flag, located under the image of the black pepper plant and checkered background followed by "dal 1909" in green, with the continuation of the green border to the lower loop of the letter "g" in "Pagani". Following the loop of the letter "g" are the initials "s.p.a." in green followed by the continuation of the green border to where it meets with the right hand border of the design.
