The certification mark, as used or intended to be used by persons authorized by the certifier, certifies or is intended to certify that the goods/services provided have attained a specific level of education, training and experience in the field of Functional vision assessment and vision habilitation/rehabilitation services, namely assessment of the use of vision and the visual environments of persons with impaired vision, and instructing the use of visual perceptual and visual motor skills and the use of low vision optical, non- optical and electronic devices to persons with impaired vision to assist them in regaining independent function for activities of daily living and instrumental activities of daily living, and instructing such persons to use environmental cues and environmental modifications that enhance the use of vision.
