The mark consists of circle with a fist in the center facing outwards and extending past the border of the circle on the left is a representation of a kama blade (an Okinawan Kobudo weapon) and extending past the border on the right is a representation of a tonfa (also an Okinawan Kobudo weapon). The center of the symbol represents "seiken-tsuki", one of the most important fundamental methods to the attack. In the upper left area following the curve of the circle are the letters "OSMKKF" which means Okinawa Shorinryu Matsumura-Orthodox Karate and Kobudo Federation. Below the logo are the Japanese kanji characters meaning the same thing, reading from upper right to lower right and then upper left to lower left.
