a multi-step approach used in a motivational anxiety preparation program for assisting a person with a mental condition, or a person with a desire to live a more fulfilling life, in overcoming the effects of that condition or life situation by changing their mindset from one of seeking resilience as opposed to one of seeking relief in the moment; the steps including gathering information from the person regarding their condition and/or quality of life, its effects on the person and those with whom they are in contact, and their desire to change their response and what they are willing to commit to doing to make that happen; having the person identify and verbalize a desired outcome and desired alternate behavior the person wants to exhibit and which differs from that previously exhibited; motivating the person to choose a resilient mindset with respect to achieving their desired alternate behavior, outcome, and lifestyle; educating the person on the benefits of choosing the resilient mindset; and, allowing and enabling the person to powerfully and intentionally choose the alternate mindset and behavior over their prior mindset and behavior resulting from their condition and/or choices based upon intentionally choosing the resilience conditioning
