Flight control electronics for commercial aircraft, namely, primary flight control computers consisting of electronic modules for system power conditioning and battery backup, flight surface actuator control, autoflight and autoland modules for primary and high lift flight controls, inertial rate and air data sensors for flight data input, and containing flight critical software for overall system control of aircraft flight surfaces; actuator control electronics consisting of power supplies and programmable logic electronic control modules, under command of the primary or high-lift flight control computers, to provide power and positional inputs to electric, hydraulic, or pneumatic actuators for the control of various aircraft flight surfaces; high-lift control and monitoring electronics consisting of electronic control modules to provide positional inputs to electric, hydraulic, or pneumatic actuators controlling wing flaps and slats to increase lift for aircraft control; rudder and yaw control electronics consisting of electronic control modules to provide positional inputs to electric, hydraulic, or pneumatic actuators controlling directional (yaw) stability for aircraft control; stabilizer control and monitoring electronics consisting of electronic control modules to provide positional inputs to electric, hydraulic, or pneumatic actuators controlling the horizontal and/or vertical stabilizers that provide longitudinal stability and control (pitch) and/or directional (yaw) stability and control of an aircraft; spoiler-control and monitoring electronics consisting of electronic control modules to provide positional inputs to electric, hydraulic, or pneumatic actuators controlling the spoiler control surfaces on an aircraft used to disrupt airflow over the wing and greatly reduce lift; engine controls for commercial aircraft, namely, full authority digital engine controls consisting of electronic modules for system power, computational controls, input and output interface modules, and lightning/EMI protection to control multiple data input variables of the current flight condition including air density, throttle lever position, engine temperatures, and engine pressures; engine health and prognostics systems consisting of electronic modules for system power, computational controls, input and output interface modules to receive data from various aircraft engine sensors strategically positioned throughout the engine to record key technical parameters several times each flight
