The mark consists of a circular design with a red circular border containing two white dots and the wording "THE TEWAARATON AWARD" in a white font therein. In the center of the circle is an image of a man, shown from the torso upwards, in traditional Native American lacrosse attire. The man is holding a lacrosse stick that extends from the center of the circle to just outside of the red border. The background of the center of the circle is black with lighter portions being a combination of gray and white. The body of the man and the lacrosse stick are a combination of gray and white, except that the shaded portions are a combination of black and gray. The eyebrows, hair and feather worn by the man are black, except that the lower portion of the feather is a mixture of gray and white. The rope portion of the man's necklace is black and the beaded portion is white. The white outside of the red circular border represents background areas only and is not part of the mark.
