The mark consists of a two-part label, both parts of which are generally trapezoidal in shape, being wider at the top than at the bottom; at the center top of the larger upper label, partially projecting above the main body of the label, is a black circle containing the fused letters "JM" in gold; the circle has, from outermost to innermost, gold and black linear borders, and a gold dotted border. The upper label contains a black background with, from outermost to innermost, gold, black, and white borders. The words "UN SABOR PARA TODA A VIDA" appear in gold directly underneath the "JM" circular design. The word "MACIEIRA" appears below that in white letters outlined in black and gold. Five gold and brown stars appear directly underneath "MACIEIRA". Directly below the stars is a thin double line in gold with the word "COLEÇÃO" in gold and, below that, "D'AUTOR" in gold; the words "HOMENAGEM" A appears in brown directly underneath "D'AUTOR". Directly underneath "HOMENAGEM A", the words "JOSE G. MACIEIRA" appear in white script with a thin double line in gold underneath. The smaller lower label appears directly underneath the larger upper part with a cream color background and, from outermost to innermost, gold, black, white, and black borders. The words "CASA MACIEIRA" appear in black script with a black underline in the center.
