There is a swath of orange around the lateral line of the sailfish, behind the pectoral (side) fin. The eye of the sailfish is black. Beneath the eye of the sailfish is a swath of ecru. In the lower half of the body of the sailfish, the boundaries of each state represented are drawn in royal blue, with the remainder of the lower half filled in ecru.
