The mark consists of a rectangle overlapping and extending across the center of a circle. The rectangle is bordered in layers of black, red and yellow, with "ULI'S FAMOUS" inside in white san serif all caps typeface on a black background. Just below the wording is a yellow ticket shape with red trim just inside the border of the ticket shape. Centered on the yellow ticket shape is the wording "SAUSAGE" in black san serif all caps typeface with black dots on each side of the word. Yellow swirls accent on each side, outside of the ticket shape. At the top of the half circle that is divided by the rectangle design is the wording "PIKE PLACE MARKET" in white san serif all caps typeface on a black background and the wording "SEATTLE, USA" is at the bottom half of the circle in white san serif all caps typeface on a black background; the circle also contains three yellow parallel curved lines on the left and right sides above and below the intersecting rectangle, "GERMAN MASTER BUTCHER" in black san serif all caps typeface on a red background above a yellow swirl underline in the lower quadrant, and a stylized black and white image of a male face with a mustache depicting a butcher on a background of alternating black and red stripes in the upper quadrant.
