The certification mark, as used or intended to be used by persons authorized by the certifier, certifies or is intended to certify that the services provided have satisfied the certifier's criteria for education, achievement, and expertise, including successful completion of a specialized program of educational seminars, training, classes, and conferences delivered by the certifier and continued education comprising: Nine core courses in the insurance and risk management services field, five courses must be completed within a three year period, and an additional four courses must be completed within a six year period (inclusive of the three year period); additional annual courses in the insurance and risk management field must be completed on completion of the initial core courses.
