The mark consists of a red annulus outlined in black with a red bar running through it indicating the international symbol of no, not, banned or barred (a circle with a line through it) where the color inside the inner diameter of the annulus is blue, fading to white at the center. Radially outboard of the annulus and above it are the words "NATURAL MOUSE REPELLENT" and radially outboard of that and above it is the word "Var-Mint" where the dot in the small case "I" in the word "Var-Mint" is formed with a green representation of a mint leaf outlined in black. Eleven other green mint leaves with black lining appear around the red annulus. The black font of the lettering in the word "Var-Mint" is larger and thicker than the black font in the words "NATURAL MOUSE REPELLENT". Running in front of the symbol for barred is a caricature of a mouse outlined in black where the body of the mouse is gray in color and the arms, legs and center of the ear are pink in color. The mouse's eyes are white with black pupils and its teeth are yellow. It is carrying a bandana pouch on a stick over its shoulder, where the stick is brown and the bandana pouch is yellow with brown spots on it and they are outlined in black. The mouse's tail and the tip of its nose are brown in color. The mouse's tail also has black lines on it. Small black parallel lines appear behind the body in the blue inner circle and are indications of movement forward by the mouse and the wavy lines emanating from the mouse's nose indicate that he is smelling the fumes from the eleven mint leafs scattered around the lower outside of the red annulus.
