The mark consists of a logo where the top half is a white with overlapping slanted blue striping, and the bottom half is a white with overlapping black text. There are three circular images of varying size placed on the top half of the image. Circle 1 is the largest of the three circles and contains a turquoise filling. Within Circle 1 there is a graphic depicting three gears of varying size independently connected to each other. The largest of the three gears in Circle 1 is black and the smaller two gears are white. Circle 2 which is featured to the right of Circle 1 and slightly smaller than Circle 1 is filled with a green coloring. The graphic displayed in Circle 2 is of two hands differing in color, one hand is black in coloring and the other is white, these hands are performing the act of shaking. Circle 3 featured below Circle 1 and Circle 2, and smallest of the 3 Circles, is filled with magenta coloring and contains a computer mouse graphic. The computer mouse featured in Circle 3 is mainly black in coloring but uses white to accent the cord connected to the mouse, the scroll tool and line symbolizing the division between the command button and the rest of the mouse. The bottom half of the mark contains five words of black text broken up into two lines. The first line of text is "SANTA MONICA" and is featured in all capitalized stylized letters. The second line of text below is "YOUTH TECH PROGRAM" and is featured in stylized font.
