The mark consists of a square, having filleted corners and the overall background is green. It is bordered on all sides with a double line, the outer line being wider than the inner line, and the color of those two lines is rust/orange. The company name, SHENANDOAH VALLEY BREWING CO. is in two lines, with the name SHENANDOAH the first line, and VALLEY BREWING CO. the second line. The color of the letters is yellow and the first line is fairly straight, but stylized in the sense that the letters move from a slightly large font at the beginning and end to a slightly smaller font in the center. The second line has the words VALLEY BREWING CO. in an arch over the top of an oval with mountains inside, which is the focal center of the mark. In the same manner as the first line, the second line also has stylized letters that are larger at the ends than in the middle. The oval is located directly beneath the name of the company, with the top of the oval being 2/5ths of the way down from the top border of the mark. It is a horizontal oval with a border of rust/orange, which is the same color that surrounds the entire mark. In that oval is a series of blue/green mountains whose colors get progressively lighter from bottom to top, until they blend into the sky. Positioned over the lower third of the oval is a banner that swags from left to right and has a blending of colors from left to right that are orange, yellow and red. On that banner are the words in black ink that say MATERA PRO POPULAS. The banner has a small spray of foliage in yellow and orange that runs behind the banner to the middle top and then appears again under the banner to the bottom right, with a small flower the nearly reaches the bottom border of the mark.
