The mark consists of the stylized capital letter "P" with a stylized capital "A" followed by a stylized capital "T" and "R" which are joined together at the top; the "I" is represented by two quasi-parallel, vertical curved marks with the inner mark being shorter than the outer; a stylized drawing of a star represents the "O" and a stylized capital "T" similar to the first one, but not joined to the other characters, is at the end. The words "deo juvante" in stylized lettering and much smaller font runs horizontally below the aforementioned with the "R" starting at the bottom, first part of the star and extending to the end of the last "T" in "PATRIOT" The inner part of the star is often times colored in with various colors in a digital camouflage pattern.
