The certification mark, as used or intended to be used by persons authorized by the certifier, certifies or is intended to certify that the services provided are performed by a professional educator who has demonstrated advanced knowledge and skills pertaining to working in healthcare simulation at an accredited institution as determined by a test of healthcare simulation and knowledge authorized by the certifier. This can be demonstrated by a higher education degree and/or sufficient experience in education development, and by passing the certifier's certification knowledge and skill proficiency examinations established for the certification level.
