The mark consists of the letters of the literal element, "BUDDY'S SAUCY DOGS HOT DOGS WITH PERSONALITY", in red encircling the design element, which includes a circle and a rendering of a dog's head. The circle surrounds the dog's head in a manner reminiscent of a dog collar. The circle consists of a complete red circle bounded on the interior and the exterior by yellow arcs each subtending an angle of approximately 350 degrees, such that the circle is also reminiscent of a hot dog in a bun. The colors black and gray appear on the dog's nose, ears, crown, around its eyes, and on its cheeks extending down to the top of its neck. The left side (from the viewer's perspective) of the dog's face is predominantly black with gray highlights and the right side is predominantly grey with black highlights.
