The mark consists of the words McLaren Engineering Group about a black horizontal band. Aproximately one third of the way from the left end of the line is a circle divided into four quadrants. The upper left quadrant includes three rectangular buildings of increasing height, the upper right quadrant is a depiction of a bridge, the lower left quadrant consists of a checkerboard type pattern of small squares with vertical and horizontal lines and the lower right quadrant consists of four horizontal wavy lines. The words applied ingenuity are printed to the right of the circle, within the black band.
