Description of Mark
The mark consists of a three dimensional configuration of a pistol. The mark includes the overall external shape and size and unique accents and features of the pistol as set forth in this description. The mark includes the distinctive wedge shaped barrel similar to that of a trapezoid; the shape and dimension of the trigger guard, the dust cover on the bottom of the frame, the shape and size of the frame, and the beavertail extension at the rear of the frame. The mark also includes the design and location of the barrel lock and pin on both sides of the frame; the angular and radius lines on the top and sides of the slide and the shape and design of the slide itself; the shape and location of the safety, and the size, shape and pattern of the grip. The top portion of the pistol does not encapsulate or cover the barrel of the pistol for the full length of the gun nor capture it at the muzzle. The barrel is exposed from chamber to muzzle with the slide connecting with the barrel only at the chamber end. The round portion of the exposed barrel extends from the muzzle to the chamber in the shape of a multi-slotted rail. The sides of the barrel are reduced in cross section and said cross section is wedge shaped externally to match the contours and width of the frame and the slide rails extended parallel to the frame beneath the barrel. The forward portion of the barrel overhangs the frame and locks into the front of the long, smooth, full length dust cover. The serrations at the rear of the slide, shown by the series of angular lines, are purposefully not vertical, but are purposely cut on both the left and right hand sides of the slide in a forward-inclining manner. The dotted lines indicate features that are not claimed as part of the mark, including, the shape of the trigger, hammer, magazine release and front and rear sights.
