The mark consists of a three-dimensional configuration of a beer tap handle. The beer tap handle consists of a silver double barrel sawed-off shot gun with a silver front sight mounted toward the end of and in between the barrels. The ejector port, receiver, trigger, recoil, pad, and magazine loading port are silver. The stock and fore-end are brown. At the top of the barrels, and between the ejection port and the front sight, is a flat circular silver disc. The top of the disc consists of the image of a silver five-pointed star within a silver annular. The points of the star touch the inner circle of the annular. The areas between the inner circle and the star are black. The words "DARK HORSE BREWING CO" in black font are in the top half of the annular. The words "MARSHALL MI" in black font are in the bottom half of the annular, with a small star separating the two words. A stylized drawing of the outline of the head of a horse is superimposed onto the star-annular design on the disc; the outline is in black.
