Within the top of the border are the words, "CITY OF APOPKA" in green stylized font; the year "1882" above in smaller green font as well as a depiction of an Indian princess, outlined in green at the top left, and a Masonic symbol at the top right, outlined in yellow and blue. The center of the mark consists of a second oval with the words "INDOOR FOLIAGE CAPITAL OF THE WORLD" in regular green font with a depiction of a tree farm in green, a brown cornucopia with green leaf lettuce, green cabbage, yellow squash, yellow pears, green grapes, red grapes, yellow corn, red tomatoes and brown potatoes.
