The certification mark, as used by persons authorized by applicant, demonstrates that such persons who are performing health coaching services, have met applicant's standards of competence in evidence-based health coaching (EBHC)® in the following content areas: effective communication, active listening strategies of health coaches, identifying and interpreting learning styles, facilitating health behavior change, guiding the health coach engagement agenda, safe patient goal setting, motivational interviewing skills, and measuring health outcomes, as indicated by education and experience requirements and passage of a written examination and skills competency test.
