The mark consists of a two-part label. The top portion of the label is a four-sided figure with straight parallel sides, convexly curved top and bottom, and gold, white, and black borders. Across the top of the label is the word "PADDY" in black with white and gold partial outlines making the letters appear to be three-dimensional. Below that are the words "OLD IRISH WHISKEY" in black with gold outline. Below that is a map of Ireland divided into four segments that are green, red, yellow and blue. Below that and extending up the sides of the map are yellow-colored sheaves of grain joined by a gold bow at the center, and behind the grain are green clover leaves. Below that is the word "ESTABLISHED" in gold and, below that, the number "1779" in black with gold outline. The background of the upper portion of the label is white. The lowe"r portion of the label is a rectangle with gold, white and black borders. Extending diagonally from the lower left corner of the rectangle to the upper right corner is a red band on a white background with the words "PADDY FLAHERTY" in white script. At the right side of the label is a seal in black on red and white with the words "PRODUCT OF IRELAND" around the edge and, at the center of the seal, the words "EST. 1779".
