The mark consists of The large capitalized letters "K", "S", and "A" Both the "K" and "A" appear in medium dark blue. The "S" appears in deep red. "K" and "A" are on the same plane, while the "S" is between the other two letters but offset toward the lower portion such that the top of the "S" is at the mid-point of the height of the "K" and "A". The upper left quadrants of the "S" overlaps the lower right quadrant of the "K". A white stripe, wider on the left and narrowing toward the right, curves from the left margin of the "K" through the "S" and ends in the center of the "A" in a star shape. A shadow in the shape of a large star appears behind and to the right of the "A" in light gray outline. A mortar board in light gray appears diagonally off the right-most point of the star. To the right of the "S" and just below the "A", the letters "ERVICING" appear in deep red capital letters. These letters are in a smaller font that than the "K", "S" and "A" Centered below the entire mark appear the words "A DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION SERVICER" in medium dark blue capital letters. This font is considerably smaller than the remainder of the mark.
