The mark consists of a black eagle flying over a circular, black, white, and orange target. The target has three layers of smaller black and orange single line circles on the inner portion of the outside black and orange circular edge of the target. The smaller, inner circles have rectangular sections of orange, white, and black fill color between them with the inside of the innermost circle of the target being a circle filled in with white. The target has an orange, vertical arrow that appears through the center of it, underneath the eagle. The target also has a black, horizontal arrow that extends farther than the left side of the arrow. Above the extended right side of the black horizontal arrow, the words "FIRST NATIONS DEVELOPMENT INSTITUTE" appear in black. Beneath the extended right side of the black horizontal arrow, the words "EDUCATING ADVOCATING CAPITALIZING" appear in black with small, circular black dots separating the words.
