The mark consists of a rainbow with six colored bands, the first outer band in red and the adjoining second through sixth bands in orange, yellow, green, blue and purple, respectively; left of center above the rainbow is a yellow sun; at the left base of the rainbow is a gold pot of gold with twelve visible gold coins on top and ten gold coins scattered around the pot; at the right base of the rainbow is the design of a green island representing the Island of Maui with a palm tree with green palm fronds, gold coconuts, and a brown trunk set on the right side of the island; also beneath the rainbow are two concentric circles forming a porthole with two palm trees with green palm fronds, gold coconuts and brown trunks extending out from the upper right side and upper left side of the outer concentric circle through the rainbow, and within and along the rim of the outer concentric circle are eight evenly spaced gold coins; the word "MAUI" in gold is set above the word "GOLD" in gold in the common center of the two concentric circles, and beneath the concentric circles and rainbow are the words "Race to the Rainbow"; the black and white in the drawing represents background, outlining, shading and/or transparent area and is not part of the mark.
