Goods and Services
"The Monkey Wrench Tool Co". is developing a Patent Pending device intended to be sold into the Plumbing Industry for the purposes of enabling Plumbing Contractors to Solder copper pipe fittings rapidly, effectively and safely. Current commercial product offerings intended to assist Plumbers in the Soldering of Copper joints are of two types: 1. Heat Protective Mats. Typically constructed of high temperature resistant High Density Glass Fiber or Carbon Felt materials. These products are heat and flame resistant and are positioned behind the area to be soldered in order to protect surrounding surfaces from the exposed flame of a blow-torch. In reducing the risk of Fire, the primary purpose here is Fire Safety. 2. Heat Absorbing Gels. These products are heat and flame resistant and are sprayed onto surfaces behind the area to be soldered in order to protect surrounding surfaces from the exposed flame of a blow-torch. In reducing the risk of Fire, the primary purpose here is Fire Safety. "The Monkey Wrench Tool Co". are developing an ENTIRELY NEW "Clip and Solder" device to enable plumbers to solder copper pipes incorporating the following features and benefits. "Clip and Solder" Product Description The Monkey Wrench Tool Co. "Clip and Solder" device consists of a Polished, Curved Aluminum Reflective Shield to reflect Blow-Torch heat back to the rear of the pipes being soldered, thereby enabling faster and more thorough soldered joints. Attached to the rear of the reflective shield is a layer of Heat Resistant Carbon Felt which serves the purpose of preventing the high temperatures at the reflector side from radiating through the rear of the shield, thereby addressing safety issues related to heat transfer to the surrounding areas. Additionally the "Clip and Solder" device incorporates a Clip Mechanism, enabling the Plumber to attach the Reflector Shield directly to the Pipe to be soldered. An optional Flex-Arm with Remote Clip also enables the "Clip and Solder" device to be attached securely to suitable mounting points within a 10" radius of the pipes to be joined. "Clip and Solder" Features Controlled, Reflective Heat Management. ? Dished Reflector safely re-directs heat away from flammable surfaces and towards work area. ? Mirror image. no need for flashlight and inspection mirror !! (clearly see reverse side of join !!) ? Easily cleaned and polished. Resists Acid Flux and Solder. ? Fits 1/2" thru 1" tube sizes. A Flame-Shield with optional Flex-Arm and Remote Clip.. ? Remote Clipping to a variety of shapes and surfaces. ? Adjustable for length, secure rotational and linear hold when "Clipped". "Clip and Solder" Benefits Suitable for multiple joins, Re-Pipes, new build, overhead joins and low light areas. ? No need for "Set-Up", Flame-Shield Clips straight on !! ? Enhanced reflective brilliance under flame. ? Rapid Speed to Soldered Join. (Reduced Time, Energy and Money) ? Thoroughness of Join (Reflector spreads heat evenly throughout join.) ? Cool rear Face and Clip !! Handle IMMEDIATELY after soldering. No wait.. just "Clip and Solder". Intended Consumer Professional Plumbing Contractors and DIY Handymen. Main Purpose To rapidly, Effectively and Safely facilitate the Soldering of Copper Pipe joints. Intended Uses The Monkey Wrench Tool Co. "Clip and Solder" device will be used in Commercial and Residential environments where plumbing New Build and MRO (Maintenance and Repair) involving Copper Pipe joining is required
