The mark consists of four concentric circles, an outer circle of a single dark line, a light circle just inward toward the center, about one quarter inch thick and inward from that, a dark circle, also about one quarter inch thick. In the center of the circle is yet another dark circle, smaller, and with a thickness of one-eighth of an inch. At the 6 o'clock place on the circle is a shaded dot with two other shaded dots on either side. In the space above, the wording "BLUE JEAN" is bent around the inner circle in stylized capital letters, while the word "CHEF" appears in the lower part of the inner circle and to the right in stylized cursive script.
