The mark consists of a light and dark gray rectangular border that is white on the side containing a red shield design with a tan border, in the center of which is a white fish design with black detailing, above which are four tan leaf designs, with the farthest ones to the left and right having tan grape bunches attached to them. There is another tan leaf design under the nose of the fish and the design of a tan tree trunk under the fish, broken in the middle by the fish's fin. Outside the shield are gray lines forming the outline of another shield with two vertical lines of 17 gray dots on each side, and various stylized curving lines on each side of the bottom half of the shield. At the base of the shield on each aide is a gray incomplete parallelogram with 14 gray dots in its center. Underneath these designs is the gray stylized wording "CAVE DE TAIN" shaded darker, and the smaller stylized gray wording "DEPUIS 1933" under that.
