The mark consists of a three dimensional configuration of a champagne bottle appearing in green with a cork wrapped in black foil, with the letters "LP" and "2002" in white appearing against black on the neck of the bottle below the cork, with a wide horizontal band in white, black, and gold beneath the "LP 2002" which has a black band in the center with the words "LAURENT" and "PERRIER" in white appearing on the band, with gold bands with fanciful designs in black above and below the black band, with white bands with horizontal lines and fanciful designs in black appearing above and below the gold bands, and with a shield design in gold with wording and designs in black superimposed over the center of the wide horizontal band, with the shield design containing within it a smaller shield containing an eagle design with rectangular figures below the wings on either side, and at the bottom of the shield design the Latin words "DE TURII SUPER MATRONAM QUO NON ASCENDAM" appearing on a roughly u-shaped band extending up to the middle of the smaller shield on either side to elaborate scrollwork designs consisting of curving lines and circular figures appearing to the left and right and above the smaller shield, and with a black label appearing near the bottom of the bottle, containing the wording "LAURENT-PERRIER" in white inside a gold scrollwork design which is generally oval with curving intersecting lines, with the word "CHAMPAGNE" in white above the design and with a plant design in white appearing above the words in white "BY APPOINTMENT TO H.R.M. THE PRINCE OF WALES PURVEYORS OF CHAMPAGNE CHAMPAGNE LAURENT-PERRIER" in the upper right corner of the black label, with the words "MAISON FONDEE" appearing below the gold scroll design and above "1812" in white, and with the word "MILLESIME" in white on the bottom left of the label and the word "TOURS-SUR-MARNE" in white appearing on the bottom right of the label. The broken lines depict the placement of the mark beneath the cork and on the bottle and are not part of the mark. The overall configuration of the bottle, the wrapped cork, and the foil are not claimed as features of the mark.
