The mark consists of the entire package surface, comprising a dark blue background and a top of essentially a 4 x 4 block of squares displayed on the blue background. On this 4 x 4 block, the words RITTER SPORT appear in blue on the upper leftmost white square. The remaining squares across the top row of four squares are blue, transparent, and orange, respectively. On the second row, the first two squares across the row are both blue having the word CUBES extending across them in yellow and slightly to the left of the square. The remaining squares on the second row are dark blue and transparent, respectively. The third row consists of transparent, green, white, and red squares, respectively, and the fourth row consists of white, transparent, orange, and blue squares respectively. The mark also has, on the sides and bottom of the box, copies of the first square on the top row of the 4x4, essentially a white square with the words RITTER SPORT appearing in blue with the first two squares of the second row to the right of the RITTER SPORT square, essentially those two squares of blue and having the word CUBES extending across them in yellow.
