The certification mark, as intended to be used by authorized persons, is intended to certify that the individual(s) displaying the certification mark has met certifier's requirements regarding use and knowledge of computer software products, use of certain technology used by insurance professionals, and knowledge of insurance products and the insurance industry, and that such individual(s) (1) has met specific standards of education and experience established by certifier, (2) has successfully passed an examination prepared and reviewed by certifier, and once certified, (3) maintains the certification through the continuing education requirements established by certifier.
