The North, South, East and West pointers of a major annular portion of the compass are dark brown, as is an outermost ring around the compass; the letters of the words STRATEGIC and LINK are brown, as are the North-Northeast, South-Southwest, West-Northwest, and East-Southeast pointers of the major annular portion; the North-Northwest, East-Northeast, South-Southeast, and West-Southwest pointers of the major annular portion are light brown, as is a ring that is inside and adjacent to the dark brown outermost ring; and a central portion of the compass has brown North, South, East and West pointers, a dark brown annular outer halo, central X, and pair of concentric circles, with the balance of the central portion being generally light brown.
