The certification mark certifies that authorized persons performing instructional services relating to renewable energy, energy efficiency, and/or distributed generation, have demonstrated professional knowledge competency in the relevant fields of renewable energy, energy efficiency, and/or distributed generation, in accordance with the requirements established by the certifier (applicant), including -- the completion of relevant in-class course instruction requirements; the satisfaction of educational and experiential eligibility requirements; the development and maintenance of a defined syllabus and/or curriculum for each relevant program, consistent with an industry-approved Task Analysis; and, the satisfaction of applicable training course/program performance requirements.
