The NE compass point is topped with an arrow of dots to represent masculinity. The S compass poinnt has a small horizontal line of dots to suggest the feminine principle. The lines of dots at the N, NE, E, S and W compass points are slightly longer than the lines of dots at the SE, SW and NW compass points.
