providing health information in the fields of reproductive health, family planning, fertility control, contraception, abortion and human sexuality; providing training, consultation, medical equipment and supplies for the maintenance of reproductive health programs, including the diagnosis and treatment of aids and other sexually transmitted diseases; promoting awareness of the accessibility of effective means of voluntary fertility control, especially contraception, including surgical contraception, and also abortion, by conducting awareness programs, and through dissemination of information; providing financial grants and funding for family planning services and programs; and providing support, training and consultation for the advocation of public policies that protect reproductive rights
