Description of Mark
The mark consists of Depicted is a symbol of Integrated Medicine which I practice. I am trained in acupuncture and am a licensed MD. Depicted are the two snakes of Aesclapius' staff, one live (gold), reviving the dead one (silver), with a leaf; above the staff they meet in the shape of the heart to emphasize the importance of the heart creating the dominant rhythm. The staff represents the human spine with it's energy centers corresponding to the chakras. The colors radiating from these centers are those associated with the chakras. Above and below are the energetic representation of connection to heaven and earth. The snakes emerge via DNA strands from the symbol of duality, stylized as a black feather and white feather in a circle, like the yin/yang. The eyes of Hours provide the yin within the yang, and the yang within the yin. The eyes are protective symbols. The symbol of duality is born in fire and water mixing, with the DNA of the snakes emerging at the base. The torus energy field surrounds the entire piece.
