All garments or home textiles bearing the Mongolian Cashmere mark are made of a blend of no less than 50% cashmere from Mongolia. The products bearing this mark are correctly labeled for the origin and purity of cashmere they are made from, and that the product is not made from recycled or waste fiber. The Mongolian FiberMark Society authenticates each manufacturer's purchase of new, high quality Mongolian cashmere for the products labeled. To be eligible for this mark, the product must have been processed and manufactured without the use of child labor and in clean and safe working conditions. The products bearing the mark are periodically tested, and the production facilities inspected, to ensure conformity with the FiberMark Society's objectives in providing consumers with a reliable guarantee of purity and quality.
