The mark consists of a metal bracket in the foreground riveted in space by four screws displaying the name "TAOS BREW CO." (in upper case letters) with a silhouetted raven, wings up, alighting on top of the bracket at its center, over a second layer consisting of two sets of interlocking gears, in each set one large gear with internal spokes and one small gear solid in its center, both sets of gears symmetrically positioned at 45° angles behind the upper ends of the bracket, over a third layer consisting of the frontal view of a large circular sprocket (depicting the sun), within which is a smaller concentric circle containing cloud-like swirls depicting the reflective surface of a metal rivet, and, at bottom, between the outer edge of the smaller concentric circle of the rivet and the inner edge of the large, encompassing sprocket is the term "NEW MEXICO" (in upper case letters) the words set in a curve consistent with the shape of the sprocket.
