The certification mark, as intended to be used by authorized persons, is intended to certify the adherence to established standards in the fields of computing and information technology; the adherence to established standards with respect to collecting, using and sharing confidential information; the adherence to established standards with respect to security; the adherence to established standards with respect to personal and professional conduct; that the computer consultation services and/or information technology services provided in association with the mark are performed by individuals or entities that meet the certifier's standards of competency, skill and knowledge.
