The mark consists of a concentric circle design with a white circle appearing in the center, the center circle is surrounded by a red circle and then a thin white circle, a thin red circle forms the outside of the concentric circle design, the square background appears in orange. A light orange and white sunburst surrounds the thin red circle. Appearing in the top half of the red circle are the words "ARM & HAMMER" in white and appearing in the bottom half of the red circle is the phrase "THE STANDARD OF PURITY" in white. Appearing inside the circle is the image of a vulcan arm and hammer in black and white. The color white as used in the arm represents shaded or transparent areas and is not part of the mark.
