The mark consists of a blue stylized triangle slightly tilted to the left with a light blue swoosh beginning at the right side the near the top one-third of the triangle. The swoosh appears to disconnect and reappear at the top left side of the triangle and continues downward while increasing in size until the swoosh turns right and appears to go into the bottom of the blue triangle and ends in the appearance of a stylized arrow. The entire design, when viewed as a whole shows a blue triangle titled toward the left, with a stylized "G" intersecting the triangle. To the right of the blue triangle are the words "GREAT NORTHWEST" in large capital block lettering. The word "GREAT" is shown in light blue lettering which matches the "G" intersecting the triangle. The word "NORTHWEST" is shown in the same blue color as the triangle.
