The mark consists of red, yellow, blue, light blue, grey, green, black and white a horizontal row of solid color squares below of whose left side appear two bigger squares next to each, the first one inside of which appears a stylized capital letter A and the second one inside of which appears a capital letter H. Below these two sqaures appear the words AXEL HOTELS in stylized capital letters. The color black appears in the words AXEL HOTELS as well as in one of the small squares in the horizontal row of squares. The color grey appears in one of the two bigger squares inside of which appears the letter A as well as in two of the smaller squares in the horizontal row. The color red appears in one of the two bigger squares inside of which appears the letter H as well as in four of the smaller squares in the horizontal row.
