The mark consists of four concentric circles. The inner circle is a globe with the continents light blue in color with white edges. The ocean is white at the top of the globe and gradates to light blue, the same color as the continents, at the bottom of the globe. The words "SECURE CERTIFIED" appear horizontally with the word "SECURE" in red, large serif font with curved edges and the word "CERTIFIED" in smaller, blue font. The second circle is smaller in diameter and gold in color - gradating from light gold at the top left to dark gold at the lower right. The third circle is larger in diameter and blue in color with thin, faint white rays emanating from the edge of the second circles. There is a ring of white text at the center of the third circle with the words "U.S. DEPARTMENT OF HOMELAND SECURITY" in white font in a circular layout, with seven white stars on the right and left quarters of the circle. Towards the outer edge of the third circle there is a white dashed ring in a rope design. The fourth and outermost circle is gold in color and has a sharp rigged edge.
