The mark consists of the words "The" "Box" employing a saturated black color to give the effect that it was painted with ink. The font itself was designed based on font types popularized during the Symbolist period, and used on book covers during the time. The font which most closely resembles some of the existing gothic fonts on the market, is then embellished upon whereby the strokes of the letters are intended to evoke a feeling of burning and melting candles with the ends and borders of the letters drawn to look like they are melting or burning. The words are sandwiched between a leafy and curling black ink border that was designed based on the wallpaper borders used during the early twentieth century within the United States. .
