The certification mark, as intended to be used by authorized persons, is intended to certify that "GAIA CERTIFICATION" Ltd., authorized users, more specifically companies or businesses who make products or render services using non-renewable natural resources, offset their own use of non- renewable natural resources by purchasing "GAIA CERTIFICATION" Ltd., Credits, specifically, Credits which represent that an equivalent non-renewable natural resource is being extracted at a given "GAIA CERTIFICATION", Ltd., designated development site under a natural resource development project that "GAIA CERTIFICATION" Ltd., determined was socially sound and ecologically sustainable according to "GAIA CERTIFICATION" Ltd.'s standards for environmental sustainability, social responsibility, and the prevention of the marginalization of local communities and ecosystems. The authorized use will be controlled by agreements between "GAIA CERTIFICATION" Ltd., and the authorized users, which will identify the approved products and services, and terms of use. It will also be controlled by agreements between "GAIA CERTIFICATION" Ltd., and third parties who will determine whether or not the non-renewable natural resource development projects in connection with which the Credits are to be issued meet the "GAIA, CERTIFICATION" Ltd., standards as they are, from time to time, promulgated by "GAIA CERTIFICATION" Ltd..
