The letters "US" are in blue and "AID" are in red. Underneath the letters "USAID" are the words "FROM THE AMERICAN PEOPLE" in capitol block print. "FROM THE AMERICAN PEOPLE" is in blue. The "USAID" seal consists of, starting in the center of the seal, a shield with, from the top, the letters "USAID" in white capitol block print on a blue rectangle followed below by the image of two hands in black and white reaching towards the center from left and right clasping in a handshaking manner followed below by a blue rectangle with seven white stars followed below by thirteen alternating white and red stripes marking the bottom of the shield. Around the shield are two concentric circles in blue. Within the circles are the words "UNITED STATES AGENCY INTERNATIONAL DEVELOPMENT" and two stars. The letters are in capitol block print and the letters and stars are blue.
