The mark consists of a tree with gray-shaded trunk and leaves that is the tallest item in the scene of the drawing in front of a gray-shaded wall on the left side; a gray-shaded building facade consisting of three floors, with four semi-circular openings on each of the first four floors that reveal darker, black openings that are perhaps doors or windows within each of the openings, four darker, black rectangle-openings that are perhaps doors or windows in the third floor of the facade, the words "Hotel California" written in black in all-capital letters between the bottom two floors of the building facade; a palm tree whose bent branches and leaves block out the "i" and the "a" of the words "Hotel California"; and the words "Thomas Mushrooms & Specialty Produce" written in semi-circle form, much like a rainbow, across the top portion of the drawing, with the ampersand turned backwards from the way an ampersand usually appears.
