A virtual network of people or entities constructed via the use of sound and physical proximity. For example, two people with phones can create a network by exchanging data over the sonic (e.g. audible) spectrum, and thereby form a sonic network. The graph of this network (for example in a browser) would indicate an edge connecting these two people, reflecting their physical connection established in close proximity over sound. In effect, a new type of virtual network where the initial connections are established physically (and not virtually)
