The mark consists of a red and white plaid/picnic table checkered pattern. The outer portion of the circle design consists of concentric circles in black, green, white and black looking from outside in. The inner circle has alternating bands of green and brown, with the lower elements of the bands displayed in a more blurred fashion. A pie is shown in light brown, with highlights in darker brown. The pie pan is a slightly different shade of brown then the pie. The pie and pan are trimmed in black. The fumes arising from the pie are white with a black border. The oval design has an outer black border and an inner white border. The interior of the background oval is green. The word "HARTLEY'S" and the disclaimed designation "Since 1900" are displayed in white with a black border.
