The certification mark, as used by authorized persons, certifies professionals who are engaged with the support, maintenance, and day to day management of Picture Archiving and Communications Systems (PACS), and who have demonstrated professional knowledge and competency in PACS in accordance with the requirements and standards established by the certifier. In order to become certified, an applicant must meet the requirements previously submitted and pass a corresponding test in the chosen field of competency. Each test is offered individually and certifies different competencies.
